The standards have traceable profiles shaped specially for checking your measurement locations. These profiles serve to check to your measuring locations in their entirety, i.e. measuring sensor and device. They take the daily inspection tasks as a base. Their task is to monitor to the measuring and test stations in terms of their functionality. This task is designed to be fast and easy. These were the fundamental ideas in designing the QPT standard.

All QPT standards can be traced back to national and international standards. This traceability is demonstrated by the quality test certificate as per DIN 55350-18-4.2.2. This quality test certificate specifies actual values of the standard. Before checking with the QPT standards, it is important that the measuring station is compared with the directives of the manufacturer or operator. The values determined from measuring station are then compared with the standard’s actual value. If this test is carried out on a regular basis, it serves as proof of functionality of your measurement station according to DIN EN ISO 9000ff.
