QPT standards for form, surface and contour

The standards have traceable profiles shaped specially for checking your measurement locations. These profiles serve to check to your measuring locations in their entirety, i.e. measuring sensor and device. They take the daily inspection tasks as a base. Their task is to monitor to the measuring and test stations in terms of their functionality. This task is designed to be fast and easy. These were the fundamental ideas in designing the QPT standard.

All QPT standards can be traced back to national and international standards. This traceability is demonstrated by the quality test certificate as per DIN 55350-18-4.2.2. This quality test certificate specifies actual values of the standard. Before checking with the QPT standards, it is important that the measuring station is compared with the directives of the manufacturer or operator. The values determined from measuring station are then compared with the standard’s actual value. If this test is carried out on a regular basis, it serves as proof of functionality of your measurement station according to DIN EN ISO 9000ff. We would be pleased to help you with the preparation of proof of functionality. All QPT standards are numbered. They should form an integral part of the measuring station.

Form Standard FN 104,

for testing the functionality of your form-measuring station, incl. quality test certificate. The form standard has specific traceable reference profiles.

  • Ceramic calibration ball
  • Roundness deviation approx. 0.1 μm measured with a 0-50 W/U filter, evaluation according to LSC
  • 3 roundness profiles Pt approx. 4 μm, 8 μm, 12 μm measured with a 0-50 W/U filter, evaluation according to LSC
  • Run-out error of approx. 100 μm measured in relation to A/B with 0-50 W/U filter, evaluation according to LSC: Type of filter: Gaussian 50%
  • The following are checked:
    – The installation location (vibrations)
    – The accuracy of the measuring spindle
    – The dynamics of the measuring sensor
    – The sensitivity of the measuring sensor

Roughness Standard RN 201,

for testing the functionality of your surface-measuring station, incl. quality test certificate.

  • The measuring results Ra, Rmax and Rz are traceable to the PTB via the calibration chain DAkkS (optional)
  • Moreover, the measuring results Pt, Rt, Rk and Rp are given. Measured for a measuring range of 4 mm with a cutoff of 0.8 mm for the R-measurement results
  • The following are checked:
    – The installation location (vibrations)
    – The dynamics of the measuring sensor
    – The sensitivity of the measuring sensor
    – Determination of figures for surface measurement and for operations

Contour Standard CN 303,

for testing the functionality of your contour-measuring station, incl. quality test certificate. The contour standard has specific traceable reference profiles.

  • Angle approx. 90°
  • Radius approx. 2500 μm
  • 5 profile grooves with a gap of 1000 μm
  • The following are checked:
    – The vertical sensitivity
    – The horizontal sensitivity
    – The geometry of the measuring sensor
    – The dynamics of the measuring sensor

Contour Standard CN 181,

for the implementation of traceable confirmation and acceptance tests on contour-measurement systems according to Directives VDI/VDE 2629, incl. quality test certificate and recording unit.

Recording for CN180/CN181 for 0° and 20° inclination

  • very low form deviation of the elements
  • 2x 90° angle convex
  • 1x 90° angle concave
